It all began in 1979 when Art Hambley broke away from his 10yr. Sales Manager Position at HJ Coopers Car Dealership in Kalamazoo Mich. He entrepreneured Cloverleaf Car Company originally setup as a car sales business that within a few short years would evolve into RV sales.

The business was then retooled and renamed to Cloverleaf RV a fully functional RV Dealership. In the following years Cloverleaf RV would gain recognition and great success as a Million Dollar Round Table Member for Coachmen Industries. Other accolades have been awards such as Fleetwoods Top honor for product sales 6 years in a row.

Over the years Cloverleaf RV featured many well-known top name Manufacturers such as Gulfstream Manufacturing, National, Skyline, KZ-RV, Forest River Inc., Georgie Boy Motorhomes, Damon Industries, Fleetwood, and Coachmen.

By the mid 1990’s Cloverleaf RV saw the Internet revolution coming far ahead of most RV Dealers. They began in 1995 with an in house designed simple website. Within 2 years they paved the way incorporating an in house designed e-commerce engine into their site selling RV Parts. The e-commerce addition proved successful in its own right but also provided an extra-unforeseen bonus International RV Sales.

Now realizing the potential Cloverleaf began to forward think the possibilities of an alternate style website. They began focusing on a International e-commerce RV Parts and RV Sales site. Born out of the 1998 Idea it would not be until Feb 2001 that the now Trademarked RV Outfitters came to be on the Internet. Starting out they pioneered the way once again being the only RV Dealership utilizing 3 RV Distributor Based E-commerce Engines. Later featuring RV Manufacturer Direct International RV Sales. Even now RV Outfitters is still paving the way. Partnering with a German Company ICF US Motorhomes it now gives RV Outfitters the ability to serve from both sides of the Ocean.
